Adieu Harmony - WORD BEATER

Adieu Harmony

The eerie sound of winds that blow,

Reveals hoary trees with groans of woe

As the wind swept the forest floor,

It seemed lonelier than never before

Singing by birds is done no more,

The sound of buzz is heard no more,

The deer don't run

Because the tiger hunts no more

The peacock doesn't dance,

'Cause the rabbits do not glance!

No squirrel on trees found

and no flowers with bees around

Tawney is the grass,

Exactly like the brass

The crisp yellow leaves,

Show the bridal looks have ceased

The glamour of the forest,

Is now a lost entity,

The forest looked totured,

As if the trees were killed and slaughtered

The last leaves fell like notes from a piano,

From the fewest scattered trees,

Now the oak will not load it's shelves,

With newly published leaves

The fresh breeze through the forest which blew,

The place had bid it adieu

Forest cover was now decayed

In silent mourning and solitary greif

And in that solemn silence

A sound of sleeping is heard;

The harmony had swept And the forest has slept
